Cranberry Bread

2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups flour, sifted
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled
1/2 cup orange juice
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
2 tablespoons hot water
1 cup cranberries, chopped
In a bowl, mix, flour, salt, baking soda, 1/4 cup sugar and baking powder. In another bowl, beat the egg, butter, hot water and orange juice. Mix well. Add cranberries and 3/4 cup sugar. Mix well. Pour into well greased bread pan. Bake 325°F for 1 hour. Turn out at once. Butter until it won't hold anymore. Wrap in wax paper. Cool overnight.

Nut Bread

1 egg
1 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon walnut flavoring
1 cup milk
2 cups flour
1/2 cup nuts, chopped
Mix all ingredients together. Pour into well greased loaf pan. Bake 350°F for 45 minutes.

Pumpkin Bread

2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup oil
1 cup nuts
2 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon cloves
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 cup raisins
1 1/2 cups pumpkin
Mix together flour, sugar, spices, salt and soda. In another bowl, mix, oil, raisins, nuts and pumpkin. Combine the two mixtures. Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans. Bake 350°F for 1 hour.
