Sugared Bacon Twists

12 slices bacon
3 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar |
In large baking
pan layer lined with foil and lay bacon slices side by side on
foil. Bake in a 350°F oven for 10 minutes remove from pan and
drain fat. Evenly sprinkle bacon with sugar smoothing with back
of spoon to spread evenly. Return to pan and continue to bake
until golden brown (about 12 minutes). Transfer to wire rack.
Protecting your hands with oven mitts or foil, crisscross 2
bacon slices pinch in center and twist in oppsite directions.
Repeat to make 6 twists total. Let cool for 5 minutes. Makes 6
servings.
